“Life is a daring adventure”- Helen Keller
This story begins at a small pond in upstate New York. I was nine years old and engrossed with photographing the Black-capped chickadees there. Many years later, grief severed my relationship with the arts, but through healing, I found them again.
Iceland is where this new chapter began. Solo adventures took me and my camera across icy fjords, shining glaciers, roaring waterfalls, and eventually to the sea cliffs where I fell in love with Atlantic Puffins. Historically, Iceland has always been a place of change for many people. Even the landscapes are subjected to these new beginnings.
Beaten down by the unruly wind or built by eruptions, Iceland, like us, is constantly evolving. My love for the high North will always remain there; a whisper and a memory of where I found myself. On this page, you will find this story, travel tips, and the work that is part of a legacy bigger than me.
It is my contribution to humanity: hope, inspiration, and a connection between all living things.
