It is late autumn in the Poconos. A mist settles across the low forest. It lifts to reveal the last pop of color before the wintry scene arrives. Deep blues with a bright pop of yellows. Autumn holds on like it holds my memory.
This aerial image was the winner of the Poconos Land Trust 2025 Photography Award. It was featured in the Cherry Valley ForEvergreen Art Gallery. It is one of my favorite images I have taken in the Poconos.
